Now this high performance, water reducible, single package coating is being applied to vinyl film used to manufacture bandages and outdoor signage. We continue to explore additional OEM uses for this very unique coating.

Kalcor Coatings Company has recently introduced K2 - Water Reducible Epoxy, a 2 component coating that provides up to 1000 hours salt spray resistance. K2 air dries to handle in 30 minutes, cleans up with water and has less than 1.5 pounds per gallon VOC. K2 uses a unique, non-isocyanate crosslinker that provides up to 9 hours pot life and 2H pencil hardness. K2 can be re-coated and is available in a wide range of colors and gloss levels. |
In a cooperative effort with our technology partner,
Cashew Company (Omiya, Japan) we are now
supplying basecoats and U.V. cure clear topcoats
to the cell phone market. We are also
offering this technology to additional plastic
product manufacturers.
A cell phone part is being evaluated
microscopically for possible defects in
the coating. Both pigment particle size
and coating thickness are measured
using the microscope.
